Data-sharing mechanisms on the supply chain
In the era of the fourth industrial revolution, existing digital technology enables efficient data sharing. This entails new opportunities to coordinate actors within industrial supply chains in order to substantially improve their performance. A focus on the design of appropriate data sharing mechanisms is more important than ever, especially because collaborating parties can also be competitors.
In this regard, the DISC project covers several topics, from supply chain optimization to data management and learning mechanisms.

This project is motivated by the contradiction between efficient coordination and privacy.
Our goals
In this project we investigate the design of data-sharing mechanisms through centralized and decentralized approaches in collaborative supply chains so that the optimization of the system and the value from improved operations are distributed among the multiple actors.

- Applying analytics methods to develop tools able to support advanced planning and decision-making processes.
