Innovative and designed production
Production and distribution processes can be optimised by using advanced manufacturing technologies. These include among others computer and information technologies, automation and robotics, augmented and virtual reality, and prototyping such as 3D printing. Researchers within the Academy develop and design innovative methods and investigate how industrial companies need to reorganize in order to adapt to this digitalized way of manufacturing.
